These boys had fallen asleep on the car journey to this location. It took a couple of minutes for them to wake up and warm up to me, and then after that it was game on. The smiles, the running and then hugging came in spades!
Meet this lovely family. The mother is my son’s teacher. She is the kind of teacher that he will remember for a long time, for all the good reasons. She knows how far he can go, and will push him to get him there while making it fun and with no stress. So when she asked me to take her family photos, I jumped at the chance and I wanted to make it as special for her and she makes my son’s time at school.
Her son is a little firecracker, red hair, freckles and a cheeky laugh that I adored. At one point, his hand was covered in splinters. If it was me, I would have called it a day and left, but he didn’t. He pulled each one out and carried on. Massive bonus points to him for being a trooper.
The kite that you see in the photo? if you happen to know the Dad, ask him how long it took for him to make it 🙂
Rather than sending out Christmas cards, this family of 4 decided to send out Diwali cards. She just wanted photos of her family looking pretty/handsome in their indian clothes, I wanted a little more than that. I wanted a photo of her girl holding some diva’s. She won, I failed 🙁 Her girl wanted none of it! But it did make for some funny photos, and a lovely Diwali card.
Meet this stunning senior girl! Her eyes, her hair, her grace….all of it just beautiful, inside and out. She was absolutely lovely to work with. Within the first few minutes of being with her, you can tell she has a warm heart, lots of love for her family, and a bright mind. Good luck at college, you’ll go far young lady!
