Sounds strange, but I rarely photograph families with just girls, most of the families have a sister/brother combo or all brothers. It was one of the easiest sessions that I have done, they played, twirled, hugged, held hands etc. all in one spot! You only have to look at the photos to know that this family exude happiness. The girls are constantly smiling and giggling, just as they should. Thank you for being such a good looking family, and making my job a breeze! And thank you for picking a day where the sun was perfect too!
We added 2 more members of their family to the photo session this year. These 2 didn’t exactly follow orders, but they make the sisters very happy and that’s what matters.
The monthly competition over at I Heart Faces for January is Best Face of 2014. This was tough for me to choose, I think each child that I photographed should be entered, but in the end this one won.

It’s true what they saw about pregnant women having a certain glow. This mama-to-be wasn’t just glowing, she was happy and had a giggle that made me smile. I would ask her to make a serious face for some photos, but that was too hard for her to do 🙂 She just couldn’t stop smiling.
Congratulations on the baby-to-be. What a happy family s/he will be born into.
